Pass-through cooler-cleaner OOP-120/OOP-120-N

 

The pass-through cooler-cleaner is an auxiliary equipment designed to cool and clean the roasted product (sunflower seeds, peanuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, nuts, coffee beans, cereals) coming out of the roasting oven from impurities (dust, debris).

The product to be cooled and cleaned is fed into the cooler-cleaner from the roasting oven directly or through intermediate devices (vibratory feeder, matching device, etc.). It is also possible to feed through a hopper with a vibratory feeder (in case of independent use of the equipment without connection with the roasting oven).

The equipment operates on the principle of mixing and blowing the roasted product with an air flow. Inside the drum, along its inner wall, there is a screw, which, receiving the product from the roasting oven (if used independently – from the hopper through a vibratory feeder) from one end of the drum, moves it to the other. During the movement, the product is mixed, simultaneously cooling and cleaning by the supplied air flow.

Air is supplied using a blower pipe, passing along the axis in the center of the drum and having slots in its lower part. A centrifugal fan (“snail”) is connected to this pipe by means of a flexible air duct (corrugation), which pumps air into the pipe and creates downward flows through the pipe slots.

Air flows, passing through the fried product, cool it and blow out impurities (dust, debris) through the drum mesh into the casing. In the lower part of the casing there are 2 rectangular funnels, to which centrifugal fans (“snails”) are also connected, working, unlike the first, to create a vacuum in the casing. Thus, forced airflow and the created vacuum contribute to the suction of impurities into the funnels and their blowing out beyond the cooler-cleaner.

The cleaned and cooled product, reaching the edge of the drum, is poured into a substituted container or into a loading conveyor.

The cooler-cleaner is a pass-through device, i.e. capable of operating in a continuous cycle, and is designed for cooling and cleaning the fried product from impurities (dust, debris). It can be used as part of automated lines or as an independent device for cooling and cleaning, with a capacity of up to 140 kilograms per hour.

The equipment is available in 2 modifications: OOP-120 (drum – steel 430) and OOP-120-N (drum – steel 304).
