Hot-cutting equipment for raincoat shells

This unit is a component of a production line for manufacturing raincoats from polymer film. It is designed to prepare the main body of a raincoat by hot-cutting it from tubular polymer film.

Consists of:

  • Frames (1)
  • Hot-cutting table (2)
  • Pneumatically operated clamping beam (3)
  • Control unit (4)
  • Roll holder (5)

Job description:

The unit is a floor-standing welded structure consisting of a frame (1) that supports a hot-cutting table (2), a control unit (4), a roll holder (5), and a pneumatically operated crossbar (3).

The operator places a roll of tubular film onto the roll holder (5) and pulls the edge of the film across to the opposite side of the table (2) so that the film is positioned over the hot-cutting table (2). The operator then presses a pedal, causing the pneumatic crossbar (3) to descend and clamp the film against the table (2). The polymer film is then hot-cut—a thermal cutting process that simultaneously seals the edges—according to the required pattern. Once the hot-cutting duration (set on the control unit (4)) has elapsed, the crossbar rises, allowing the operator to remove the finished product and any excess material (trim).

The hot-cutting duration is determined empirically and depends on the specific type of film being used.

The process is then repeated.

Cold-cutting systems for raincoat shells

Purpose:

Intended for the opening at the front of a raincoat and for the neckline.

Consists of:

Frames (1)
Cold-cutting table (2)
Clamping beam (3) with magnetic drive
Control unit (4)
Operating description

Job description:

The unit is a floor-standing welded structure consisting of a frame (1) that supports a cold-cutting table (2), a control unit (4), and a crossbar (3) equipped with a magnetic drive.

The operator lays the lower part of a raincoat onto the cold-cutting table (2) and lowers the crossbar (3). An electromagnet secures the crossbar (3) in a position pressed against the table (2), thereby holding the raincoat material in place. The operator then uses a knife, guided by a template, to cut the front section and the neckline. Upon pressing a button on the control unit (4), the crossbar (3) rises, allowing the raincoat to be removed.

The process is then repeated.

FLOOR-STANDING SEALER, MODEL 900 H1

Purpose:

In addition to serving as a technological unit within a set of equipment for manufacturing raincoats, this installation can also be used to produce and seal bags made from polymer films. It is designed for trimming the edges of raincoat blanks, as well as for fabricating hoods and attaching them to the raincoats.

Consists of:

Frames (1)
Support bases (2)
Clamping crosshead (3) with sealing tool
Control unit (4)
Roll holders (5)
Pedal (6)

Job description:

The unit is a floor-standing welded structure consisting of a frame (1) that supports a base (2), a control unit (4), a crossbar (3) equipped with sealing tools, roll holders (5), and a foot pedal (6).

To trim the edges of a raincoat blank, the operator places the edge between the base (2) and the clamping crossbar (3), then presses the foot pedal (6) to perform the cut using a mechanical blade mounted on the crossbar (3).

To attach a hood, the operator places both the hood and the raincoat blank between the base (2) and the clamping crossbar (3)—which houses the sealing tools—and presses the foot pedal (6). The unit then performs the sealing process according to the settings configured on the control unit (4). Upon hearing an audible signal, the operator releases the foot pedal (6) and removes the raincoat with the attached hood.
