The dryer is designed for drying walnuts, hazelnuts, and almonds after harvesting, washing, or removing the green husk. This is an essential stage in nut processing, as the quality of drying affects the taste, color of the kernel, and storage time.
Advantages of the Dryer:
-
Energy savings: The use of a solid fuel boiler significantly reduces electricity costs, which is especially important for large-scale production.
-
Waste-free production: The heating system allows the use of nut shells as fuel, making the drying process as environmentally friendly and economical as possible.
-
Uniform drying: The mixing system ensures even drying of the entire batch of nuts, preventing spoilage and mold growth.
-
High product quality: Avoiding sun drying, which can cause kernel darkening, preserves the quality of the nuts.
-
Economical: The energy-saving system reduces heating time and costs, ensuring economic efficiency.
-
Speed and autonomy: The dryer significantly reduces drying time compared to natural sun drying and does not require constant human supervision.
-
Compactness and ease of use: The dryer takes up little space and is easy to operate, allowing one person to easily load and control the drying process.
-
Autonomy – Does not require human involvement in the drying process.
-
Compactness – Takes up little space.
-
Ease of operation – Only one person is needed for loading and controlling the dryer.
Operating principle: Nuts are loaded into the hopper, and the required heating temperature is set. During drying, the nuts will be mixed for even drying. Unloading can be done directly into bags or onto a conveyor through the discharge compartment.
