Job Description

The unit consists of a floor-standing frame structure (1) that incorporates the following components: a roll holder with a pneumatic clamping mechanism (2), an unwinding shaft (3), a set of feed rollers (4), a loop compensation system (5), a clamping and cutting unit (6), a control unit (7) equipped with a length-measuring device, and a discharge table/chute (8) for retrieving the processed material.

A roll of material is placed into the roll holder (1) and pressed against the unwinding shaft (3) by a pneumatic actuator. The material from the roll passes through the loop compensation system (5) and the feed rollers (4), then advances onto the discharge table/chute (8).

The feed rollers (4) advance the material to the required length, while the clamping unit (6) secures the material and performs the cut. The operator then removes the finished piece from the table (8).

The length of the finished piece is adjusted via the control unit (7).
